Placemaking is a thread that is woven through my professional and personal life - from marketing roles at Tourism New Zealand and New Zealand Trade and Enterprise, through to being on the board of Western Springs College Ngā Puna o Waiōrea, and now managing the Grey Lynn Farmers Market.
It has been rewarding to grow the market into a thriving ecosystem of farmers, artisan food businesses, and local customers, creating a strong collective identity. The market offers an important entry opportunity for start-up food businesses and plays a supporting role in the growth of vendors.
Why did you join Grey Lynn Business Association?
To encourage businesses to collaborate for collective growth. The business association offers a platform for Grey Lynn businesses to work together and nurture a prosperous business community.
